On 29 January 2026, members of the Boards of Trustees of DLSP Schools, DLSBI Board of Trustees, Community Directors’ Association, Presidents’ Circle, National Mission Council, Lasallian Partners’ Council, MCS and LMS Commission Chairpersons, Project MILES and the Central House Administration Teams came together at The Verdure, in De La Salle University, Manila for the 2026 DLSP Annual Corporation Meeting and Joint Council Workshop. This significant assembly centered on the outcome of the initiatives spearheaded by the teams under Project MILES and the presentation of the strategic roadmap for the network. It culminated with a program to underscore the 20th Year of De La Salle Philippines.
The gathering began with a welcoming message and opening prayer led by Br. Jeanoel G. Endaya, FSC, followed by the Corporation Meeting presided by Mr. Edgar O. Chua AFSC, President of DLSP. Atty. Isabel T. Datu, Corporate Secretary of DLSP, presented the Acts of the Board which were ratified by the members present.
The President's Report followed, which underscored the extensive activities spearheaded by the various Units in collaboration with the schools, community partners and other Councils. A report from the Investment Management Unit was likewise rendered, as presented by Ms. Cherry Anne M. De Los Santos, IMU Director.
A significant highlight of the event was the presentation of the Proposed Roadmap by the DLSBI President and Visitor of the Lasallian East Asia District, Br. Jose Mari L. Jimenez, FSC. Br. JJ emphasized the necessity of adaptation, stating that "He who will not adapt, will perish." The roadmap focuses on the potential growth of the network, intending to balance sustainability, innovation, and mission while leveraging technology as a strategic enabler. Primal to this roadmap is the transformation of the governance model through the clustering of Flagship, Anchor, and Mission schools, particularly focusing on areas of need like BARMM and the Zamboanga Peninsula.
The assembly wasn’t just a forum, it was also a working session. Attendees were divided into breakout groups to discuss the roadmap's implementation across different sectors. This collaborative exchange allowed for further refinement of the roadmap and encouraged deeper collaboration across all De La Salle Philippines schools.
To end the day, the community joined together to celebrate the DLSP 20th Anniversary through a culminating program featuring a DLSP video presentation, remarks from Dr. Carmelita I. Quebengco, AFSC, DLSP trivia games hosted by Ms. Charlie Anne Espiritu, and a closing message from Mr. Edgar O. Chua, AFSC. The event reached a heartfelt finale with the launch of the revamped One La Salle Prayer video and the singing of the Alma Mater Hymn, signaling a new chapter for our network.
