Ministry Innovations in Lasallian Education {Project MILES) is a strategic initiative by De La Salle Philippines (DLSP) designed to redefine and innovate Lasallian education in response to a rapidly changing world. It acts as the updated, forward-looking successor to previous strategic frameworks (formerly referred to as Project 2022).

Project MILES focuses on five main areas to strengthen the Lasallian mission, as highlighted in the 2025-2026 Joint Council Workshops:

  • M - Mission-driven Growth & Shared Services: Facilitated by the Viability Team to ensure the sustainability of the network.

  • I - Innovation in Learning: Led by the Educational Excellence team to modernize pedagogical approaches.

  • L - Leadership & Governance: Focusing on strengthening governance through school clustering and development.

  • E - Extending the Reach: Focused on expanding the impact of Lasallian education to more communities.

  • S - Sustainability: Ensuring long-term viability of the Lasallian mission.

Latest Developments (2025-2026)

  • 2026 Roadmap Presentation: On January 29, 2026, the Proposed Roadmap for Project MILES was presented at the DLSP Annual Corporation Meeting at De La Salle University, Manila.

  • 2025 Rebranding: The initiative was officially rebranded from "Project 2022" to "Project MILES" during the 2025 Joint Council Workshop, symbolizing a renewed focus on innovation.

  • 2025 Commission Assemblies: Throughout 2025, various commissions (Learning Experience, Governance, etc.) met to align their three-year plans with the Project MILES framework.

Project MILES is central to the "One La Salle" vision, aiming to unite the network in a shared, future-oriented mission.
