A 10-hectare campus in Lipa City, Batangas, De La Salle Lipa began as La Salle High School. It was run by the Boys' Department of the Maryknoll Sisters' Our Lady of the Rosary Academy. The school started offering primary education in 1967 and later on became a co-educational institution in 1974.

As proof of its commitment to give the students under its care the best education possible, DLSL became the first educational institution in Batangas to offer internet access to its academic community
