Envisioned to be a world-class Catholic institution focused on science and technology, De La Salle Canlubang opened in 2003 with 309 students and 42 faculty and staff in the 50-hectare property donated by the family of the late Leandro Locsin, a National Artist for Architecture.

By providing an integrated science-based curriculum at the elementary, high school and collegiate levels, DLSC aims to offer programs focused on world-class teaching and research that will support the country's drive for science and technology development. Through dynamic management, state of the art technology, networking, and provisions for equitable access to Lasallian education, the University will contribute to the development of well-rounded individuals equipped to meet the challenges of the new millennium.
